I began in the financial industry after college with a mainstream financial bank 25 years ago, later making the move to Washington with my family in tow.
I enjoy exploring ways to encourage others to grow a healthy financial life. This led me to certify as a Financial Counselor to begin working at a local nonprofit counseling center, counseling clients, teaching finance classes, and workshops. In keeping step with that deeper personal concept with clients I moved from banking industry to the credit union in 2014.
I enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren playing cards, outdoor cookouts or swapping stories around the outdoor firepit. I have two sweet shih tzu puppies Ryder and Frodo who enjoy a good snuggling with me while I read my latest genre novel, or watching a good murder mystery.
Since our summers are short but beautiful, my husband and I enjoy making the most of the nice weather, spending time outdoors and maintaining what we call our secret garden.
